GM “Put in Jail” for Good Cause - 2010-06-24 |
Embassy Suites Concord GM “Put in Jail” for Good Cause
Embassy Suites Charlotte/Concord Golf Resort and Spa

In the real world, having a General Manager arrested isn’t a good thing to have happen at your hotel. However, at Embassy Suites Concord, GM Terry Crawford was “thrown in jail” for a good cause. The “police” for the Muscular Dystrophy Association came and “carted” Mr. Crawford away on 6/24/10 and set his “bail” at $2,500 in order for his release. Of course, the “bail” was money raised as a charitable contribution to MDA. Utilizing the hotel’s $1,000 award for Make a Difference Hotel of the Year 2009, Mr. Crawford’s “bail” was exceeded, he was released :), and a worthwhile charity received a well-deserved donation.
