Bent Grass greens and 419 Tiftway Bermuda fairways make Rocky River a very challenging golf course that appeals to all skill levels of golfer from beginners to scratch. There are four sets of tees allowing play to encompass a full range of opportunities for all who delight in the game. The expected pace of play is 4 hours 30 minutes, with starting times scheduled on 10 minute intervals.

Rocky River Golf Club hosts golf events of 20 players up to 144 players. Book an event with our Tournament Director and allow us to professionally manage your event, while you relax with your guests.
Depending on the number of players and your requested starting time, we can offer straight tee times, a double tee start or a shotgun start for your group.
Special rates are available Monday through Thursday for Charity Events, which have a 501C3 charter. A contractual agreement and a 25% deposit are required with all events of 20 or more players. Food and Beverage service is available with all our events.

The charming clubhouse at Rocky River provides all the following amenities. Meeting space, cheerful dining facilities both inside and out, wood lockers (available to all guests) with dressing and shower facilities.
Our guests may enjoy the stunning views of our golf course from the clubhouse’s peaceful outdoor veranda. Our golf shop is fully stocked with golf merchandise representing the major manufacturers in golf apparel and supplies. Rental clubs in right hand, left hand and ladies are available to our guests.
Our 19th hole restaurant offers a restful retreat, whether you are golfing or simply enjoying the gorgeous view overlooking the lake, eighteenth green and number ten tee. Celebrate a game well played with a satisfying sandwich, burger or healthy salad, accompanied by a refreshing cocktail or other beverage.

Rocky River offers great practice facilities. They include a Bent Grass putting green, a grass practice tee with 30 stations and target greens. Our practice facilities are always open during normal golf shop operating hours, so that you may develop your golfing skills. Rental clubs in right hand, left hand and ladies are available if you need clubs.
Private and group golf lessons are available from our PGA professional staff for $35.00 for ½ hour, plus the cost of practice balls. Available for use with our lessons is a separate short game practice facility, which is shared by the Rocky River professional staff and the UNC Charlotte Golf Team.
